BSE notified the Quarterly cyber security incident reporting through BEFS only

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 29, 2023, issued the Quarterly cyber security incident reporting through BEFS only.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Members are to submit the Quarterly Cyber Security Incident reporting through the BSE E-Filing System “BEFS” only, within 15 days from the end of the quarter

• Immediate Incident Reporting is to be done only if the Designated Officer on receipt of any information with respect to all Cyber-attacks, threats, cyber-incidents and breaches experienced shall inform the Exchange within 6 hours of receipt of such information.

• User manual for reference has been attached.

• In case of non-compliance observed, disincentives including financial disincentives and disciplinary action are applicable. 

• The Tabular data of the penalty/disciplinary actions have been stated in the notification.
