MoF amended notification on export duty exemption/concession to specified goods subject to the prescribed condition

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 29, 2023, issued the amendment to Notification No. 55/2022-Customs, dated October 31, 2022, which states “Seeks to provide export duty exemption/concession to specified goods subject to the prescribed condition(s)”

The following has been amended namely: -

• In the Table, S. Nos. 1 and 1A shall be re-numbered as 1A and 1B respectively, and before Sl. No. 1A as so re-numbered, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:

“0703 10 11 – Banglore Rose Onion”

• In the Annexure, after Condition number 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following Condition number and entries shall be inserted, namely:

“7 - Goods meant for export shall be allowed to be exported subject to the exporter furnishing a certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Karnataka, certifying the item and quantity of Bangalore Rose Onion to be exported.”

 

This shall come into force on September 29, 2023
