The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 29, 2023, issued the Revision in the Market lot of Derivatives contracts on Individual Stocks.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The market lots of derivatives contracts shall be revised as follows:
1. Annexure I – No change (147 Stocks)
2. Annexure II – Downward Revision (32 Stocks)
3. Annexure III – Downward revision (revised lot not in multiple of old lot) (3 Stocks)
4. Annexure IV – Revised Upwards (2 Stocks)
• As per aforesaid table -
1. The lot size of underlying assets (Stocks) as per Annexure I shall continue to remain the same.
2. The lot size of underlying assets (Stocks) as per Annexure II shall be revised with effect from October 27, 2023 onwards for November 2023 and subsequent expiries.
3. The lot size of underlying assets (stocks) as per Annexure III and underlying assets (Stocks) as per Annexure IV shall be revised with effect from October 27, 2023, only for January 2024 and subsequent expiries. November 2023 and December 2023 expiry contracts shall continue to have the existing market lots.
