The Government of Delhi on September 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the renewal of license L-28/L-28F and L-29/L-29 for Registrar of Firms/Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Registrar of Firms/Registrar of Cooperative Societies for service of foreign liquor and license is granted for service of Liquor/Beer at a club/mess whose membership is exclusively for Government Servants.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that It has been decided by the Competent Authority to renew all existing L17/L-17F, L-18/1,18F, L19/L-19F & L-20/L2OF for the period w.e.f October 01, 2023, March 31, 2024 on payment of proportionate license on or before October 05, 2023, for the said period subject to the following conditions namely: -
a. All the licenses of L-28/L-28F & L-29/L-29F are hereby directed to submit their application for renewal of license online by accessing their account in the ESCIMS portal through their I.D. and password along with the applicable license renewal for the period w.e.f. October 01, 2023, and March 31, 2024, by providing requisite information and payment of renewal license fee on or before October 05, 2023
b. The Licensee should ensure that the licensed premises remain in his legal possession during the currency of license as required under section 13 (1) (f) of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.
c. it further states that as per Notification No, F.12(4)/Fin(Rev-I)/15-16/dsvi/587 dated July 22, 2015 issued by the Finance Department, GNCT of Delhi to increase license fees at the rate of 10 % per annum and accordingly the revised license fee for the period October 01, 2023, to March 31, 2023, will be levied on a proportionate basis for the period of 6 months on the fee structure.
