The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Early redemption facility for SGBs held in Physical Mode-Oct 2023 to Dec 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The facility of premature redemption of SGB Units after completion of the fifth year from the date of issue has been permitted.
• The facility of Early Redemption for SGBs held in physical form/mode has been provided.
• The Calendar for premature redemption during October 2023 – March 2024 has been provided in Annexure 1.
• The table regarding the availability of the facility for SGB Early Redemption and the parameters for the same have been stated in the notification.
