The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on October 03, 2023, notified the date for enforcement of provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023 October 03, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the Act, in so far as it relates to serial number 29 and the entries thereto in the schedule to the Act relating to the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act,1995, shall come into force.
