The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) on September 23, 2023, issued a notification regarding the directions given to the Promoters regarding providing the details of their Authorized Representatives.
The following has been stated: -
•Information is being received through various mediums that the mobile numbers provided by some promoters at the time of project registration are non-functional.
•Guidelines are being issued regarding the correspondence to be made by the promoters and other interested parties with RERA.
•Arrangements should be made to receive the mobile number provided by the promoter or that of any of his representatives and to provide appropriate information.
•If the promoter has given a helpline number in big projects, he will ensure that the helpline number is functional and proper response is given to the consumers.
