The Government of Assam on October 03, 2023, issued a notification regarding the VDA payable to the employees/workers engaged under Private Security Houses
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the ‘Previous VDA Cumulated’ and ‘Present Wages Per Month’ appeared in the notification no. E-262184//41, for the categories of workers, shall be as follows namely: -
(i) ASO- the Previous VDA Cumulated shall be - Rs.4675.41 and the Present wages per month shall be - Rs.24029.91
(ii) Supervisor – the Previous VDA Cumulated shall be - Rs.3900.32 and the Present wages per month shall be Rs.20046.32
(iii) Gunmen (Armed) - the Previous VDA Cumulated shall be Rs.3425.29 and the Present wages per month shall be Rs.17604.79
(iv) Security Guard (Unarmed) the Previous VDA Cumulated shall be Rs.2675.23 and the Present wages per month shall be Rs.13749.73.
