The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 06, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Link Encryption for market participant leased lines
The following has been stated namely: -
• it states that for point-to-point links, everyday emails for scheduled sites will be sent to IDs registered for link reports.
• It states that the link encryption on a mass scale for remaining circuits shall be as per the schedule attached.
• It states that for MPLS links, no additional prior intimation will be sent.
• The BSE routers at market participant offices are pre-configured for link encryption. During the scheduled maintenance window, the encryption parameter will be enabled remotely using automatic scripting.
• It further states that the participants shall keep the router in power-on mode at the time of scheduled maintenance.
• It states that in case any site is missed out during mass rollout, the same can be enabled in pre-market hours with a downtime of around 10 minutes. No changes will be made during market hours.
