The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) on October 06, 2023, notified the date for enforcement of provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•In the exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023 the Central Government appointed October 06, 2023 as the date on which the provisions of the Act, in so far as it relates to amendments in The Metro Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002 specified against serial number 33 of the Schedule to the said Act, shall come into force.
