The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) on October 06, 2023, notified the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Tariff determination from Renewable Energy Sources) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023
The following has been stated: -
•Amendment in Regulation 9:
The following new provisos shall be added to the main sub-regulation 9.2: “Provided that the CUF norms specified for determining the project-specific tariff for the projects covered under sub-regulation 9.1 shall be the minimum norm.
•Amendment in Regulation 93:
The existing regulation 93 shall be substituted which talks about Banking.
•Insertion of new Regulations 94A,94B & 94C:
94A which talks about the Green Energy Tariff.
94B which talks about the Green certificate.
94C which talks about the concept of Rating.
These Regulations shall come into force on October 06, 2023.
