The Government of Delhi on September 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Renewal of License in the form of L-15/L-15F and L-16/L-16F for period w.e.f. October 01, 2023 to March 31, 2024
a. All the licenses of L15/L-15F and L-16/L-16F are hereby directed to submit their application for renewal of license online by accessing their account in ESCIMS portal through their I.D. and password along with the applicable license renewal for the period w.e.f. 01.10.2023 to 31.03.2024 by providing requisite information and payment of renewal license fee on or before 05.10.2023,
b. The Licensee should ensure that the licensed premises remain in his legal possession during the currency of license as required under section 13 (1) Delhi Excise Act, 2009.
c. As per Notification NoF12(4)/Fin(Rev-1)/15-16/dsvi/587 dated 22.07.2015 issued by the Finance Department of Delhi to increase license fees at the rate of 10 % per annum and accordingly the revised license fee for the period 01.10.2023 to 31.03.2024 will be levied on a proportionate basis for the period of 6 months on the fee structure is attached to the document.
e. 24X7 SCHEME:
"Fee for service of liquor round the clock for 4 Star hotels, 5 Star hotels, 5 Star Deluxe and above category hotels and Motels (Deluxe) shall be additional 50% of the basic annual license fee of that particular restaurant"
f. All the Five Star & above Category hotels who have already taken permission to open one or more L-16/L- 16F units, round the clock (24X7) have to apply for the permission afresh for the next Licensing Year scheme is open to all the Hotels classified under Four StarFive Star and Five Star Deluxe and above Category.
