The Government of Rajasthan on October 05, 2023, issued the Rajasthan Part Time Contractual Hiring Rules, 2023.
The foremost provisions are as stated:
• Method of hiring:
For hiring part-time services under these rules on the posts created under sub-rule (1) of rule 4, which states “Posts and strength of posts” shall be made by inviting of applications through public advertisement. The selection procedure shall be determined by the concerned Appointing authority with the concurrence of the Department of Personnel and Finance Department.
• Selection Committee:
For hiring part-time services there shall be a selection Committee consisting of at least three officers as nominated by the appointing authority.
• Contractual Hiring order:
The person selected for services/part-time hiring under these rules may be appointed on a part-time contract by the Appointing Authority. The part-time contract hiring order shall be issued in the prescribed Form appended to these rules.
• Removal of doubts:
If any doubt arises relating to the application, interpretation, and scope of these rules it shall be referred to the Government in the Finance Department whose decision thereon shall be final.
This notification shall be deemed to have come into force from April 01, 2023.
