The Government of Karnataka on October 05, 2023, issued the Karnataka Excise (Lease of the Right of Retail Vend of Liquors) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Karnataka Excise (Lease of the Right of Retail Vend of Liquors) Rules, 1969.
The following amendment has been stated:
• Amendment of Rule 18, which states “Failure to execute lease agreement”:
In sub-rule 2, in the existing proviso, after the words “Kara-Samadhana Scheme–IV”, the words “Kara-Samadhana Scheme – V”, have been inserted.
This notification will come into force from October 05, 2023.
