The National Stock Exchange (NSE) issued a notification regarding the launch calendar and modification in the Gold Futures in the Commodity Derivatives Segment
This has a reference to the notification and in further continuation to the Exchange circular no. 55477 dated February 02, 2023, regarding the relaunch of Gold Futures in the Commodity Derivatives Segment.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is requested that the subsequent launch calendar for Gold Futures has been approved by the SEBI, the same has been attached as Annexure A.
• It states that from February 2024 and onwards contracts will be available for trading as per the launch calendar.
• It further states that the existing Gold (1kg) Futures contract of all taxes and levies relating to customs duty.
• The modifications have been attached to the Document.
