The Government of Rajasthan on October 06, 2023, issued the Rajasthan Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) (Third Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Rajasthan Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1983.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In rule 5 which states the Consent fee, in sub-rule (2),
o for the existing expression “four months”, the expression “two months” shall be substituted; and
o for the existing expression "25%", the expression "10%” shall be substituted;
• In sub-rule (3),
o for the existing expression “four months”, the expression “two months” shall be substituted; and
o for the existing expression "25%", the expression "10%” shall be substituted; and
• In sub-rule (3A), for the existing expression "50% as specified in Schedule", the expression “50% of the fee as specified in Schedule, if the application is made within 30 days of expiry of period of earlier consent and 100%, if the application is made after 30 days of expiry of earlier consent”.
