The Government of Rajasthan on October 06, 2023, notified the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) (Third Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975.
The following has been stated: -
•Amendment of rule 29.- In rule 29 which talks about the application for obtaining the consent of the State Board
In sub-rule (3), -(a) for the existing expression “four months”, the expression “two months” shall be substituted; and (b) for the existing expression "25%", the expression "10%” shall be substituted.
In sub-rule (4A), for the existing expression "50% as specified in Schedule IV", the expression “50% of the fee as specified in Schedule IV, if the application is made within 30 days of the expiry of the period of earlier consent and 100% if the application is made after 30 days of the expiry of earlier consent”.
They shall come into force on October 06, 2023.
