The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on October 04, 2023, issued the Medical Equipment Manual for utilization by all ESICs.
ESIC Medical Equipment Manual is a comprehensive guiding document with current date well-defined procedures, guidelines and steps to assist user Institutes in the following aspects: -
• Equipment Procurement Procedure and Guidelines
• Equipment Management including Equipment Audit
• Equipment Condemnation Guidelines
It is informed that this Manual is only for the guiding purpose of procuring entities and care has been taken to ensure that the contents of this manual are accurate and up to date as per prevailing guidelines of Public procurement. However, the procuring entities are advised to do due diligence and check the latest guidelines and other instructions from the original sources viz. GFR provisions, GeM Terms and Conditions, CVC Guidelines, Manual of Procurement of Goods, make in India Guidelines, Model Tender document and any prevailing guidelines issued by ESIC Headquarters Office and Government of India inter-alias.
