Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on October 04, 2023, issued an amendment to Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules, 1968.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In rule 2A, which states “Conditions of transit of Timber “ after the expression "rule 4" the following expression has been inserted, namely:

"Or any electronic transit pass / No Objection Certificate generated through online National Transit Pass System (http:/ntps.nic.in):''
