The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the amendment of certain Indian Standards. The date of Establishment of the amendment and the date till which the IS shall remain in force without the amendment has been stated.
The amendment of the following IS has been established on October 06, 2023: -
• IS 1321 (Part 1) : 2003 Sisal Ropes — Specification Part 1 Untarred Varieties
• IS 3589 : 2001 Steel Pipes for Water and Sewage (168.3 to 2 540 mm Outside Diameter) — Specification (Third Revision)
• IS 5676 : 1995 Moulded Solid Rubber Soles and Heels — Specification (Second Revision)
• IS 6392 : 2020 Steel Pipes Flanges — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 17043 : 2018 Derby Shoes — Specification
The Standard shall remain in force without the amendment till April 05, 2024.
