The Government of Haryana on October 09, 2023, issued a notification to exempt the interest and penalty accrued on the arrears of passengers and goods tax due up to March 31, 2017.
Governor of Haryana hereby exempts the interest and penalty accrued on the arrears of passengers and goods tax due up to March 31, 2017, assessed by the Excise and Taxation Department, Haryana under the Punjab Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1952 as a one-time settlement, if the tax due along with an amount equal to twenty-five percent of the original tax is paid within a period of one hundred and eighty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
