EHS Compliance The Government of Assam on October 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding the prohibition of the manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of all plastic water bottles.

It has prohibited the manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of all plastic water bottles used for packaging or bottling drinking water below 500 ml capacity only, with effect from October 11, 2023.
