The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on October 13, 2023, issued a circular regarding Clarification Options on Futures in the Commodity derivatives segment.
The following has been stated: -
•Exchange has announced the launch of 'Options on Futures' contracts on Gold 1kg Futures, Gold Mini Futures Silver Mini Futures, Copper Futures, and Zinc Futures in the commodity derivatives segment from October 16, 2023.
•The circulars mention the commencement day as "Business Day immediately following the last trading day (Expiry Day+1)". It is hereby clarified that the last day refers to the last day of the corresponding futures contract expiry months.
