The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on October 13, 2023, issued the notification to enforce certain provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948.
The following provisions have been enforced namely: -
• Sections 38 to 43 and section 45A to section 45H of Chapter IV
• Sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V
• Sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, 80, 82 and section 83 of Chapter VI
This shall come into force in all the areas of Lalitpur, Kushinagar, Kaushambi, Budaun, Sultanpur, Deoria, Ballia, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Baghpat, Chitrakoot, Sambhal and Ayodhya districts in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
This shall come into force on November 01, 2023.
