The Government of Rajasthan on October 16, 2023, declared a holiday for the general elections of the State Legislative Assembly.
The following has been stated: -
•Under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act the Governor declares that November 25, 2023 (Saturday), the day of voting in the general elections of the State Legislative Assembly, a holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act) 1881 in the offices located in all the Legislative Assembly constituencies of the State so that the people of those areas can vote.
