The Government of Rajasthan on October 16, 2023, notified the Rajasthan Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Rules, 2022 under the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like agency, controlling authority, etc.
•Rule 3 talks about the application for the grant of a license.
•Rule 4 mentions the conditions for the grant of license.
•Rule 5 talks about the renewal of the license.
They shall come into force from October 16, 2023.
