The Ministry of Textiles on October 17, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Fixation of Minimum Price for Raw Jute for 2023-24
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Raw jute offered in loose volume will be priced at Rs. 200/- less than baled jute.
• It states that the minimum price of jute in all forms shall be in force until October 31, 2023
• It is further directed that no buyer and no seller shall be entitled to buy or sell other than these rates specified till October 31, 2023
• The detailed list of the Minimum Price for Raw Jute for 2023-24 in INR per quintal has been attached to the table
