The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on October 18, 2023, issued the date on which the provisions related to the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991 under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, shall come into force.
It has appointed April 01, 2024, as the date on which the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, which relates to serial number 28 and the entries thereto in the Schedule of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, relating to the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991 (6 of 1991), shall come into force.
