The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 18, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Dummy Indices Broadcast
This has a reference to Capital Market Circular No NSE/CMTR/58336 dated September 11, 2023, regarding the Dummy Indices Broadcast.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the broadcast of dummy indices having the last 7 characters of its name as “NSTEST” shall disseminated in F&O NEAT+ terminals as well.
• It is requested that dissemination/broadcast of dummy indices on the trading terminal is purely intended for internal testing of the Exchange
• It states that the market participants shall ignore receipt of any such data in the form of report/feed/broadcast. Any reference/processing/activity/consumption and consequent results on the said data shall be at their own discretion/risk.
• The dissemination of dummy indices shall be effective from the mock of October 21, 2023, and will be available in the LIVE environment with effect from October 23, 2023
