Labour Compliance The Government of Delhi on October 18, 2023, issued a notification regarding the payment of wages to construction site workers.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The payment of minimum wages must be ensured from time to time to the workers

• The same wages must be paid to a female worker as paid to male workers for the same work as mandated under the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976.

• All employers/contractors/establishments are required to maintain separate toilets for male and female construction workers on a construction site.
