The Government of West Bengal on October 16, 2023, issued the West Bengal Incentive Scheme 2023 for Broiler Breeding Farms.
The object of the Scheme is to extend special financial incentives to encourage entrepreneurs to set up Broiler Breeding Farms with a view to promoting the production of broiler day-old chicks in the State and creating employment opportunities in rural areas, to make the State self-sufficient in broiler day-old chicks production.
Unless specifically mentioned against the respective incentives sanctioned under the WBIS 2023 for BBFS, the Scheme comes into effect on and from September 01, 2023, in the whole of West Bengal except in areas falling under Municipal Corporations or Municipalities and shall remain in force for a period of two years, ending on August 31, 2025, if not withdrawn/amended earlier.
