Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on October 20, 2023, issued a corrigendum to the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of Inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023.

The following has been rectified namely:

• In Regulation 13, which states “Amendment to regulation 15 of the principal regulation”:

The words “under Step-1” in the last column of the first row of Table I and Table II under subclause (f) of Clause (2) have been deleted.

• In annexure-III which specifies the Methodology of calculation of waiver of transmission charges, In the formula under sub-clause (b)(ii) of Clause (2), the expanded meaning of the word “Waiver” shall be read as under:

“Waiver (%) = 100 X (sum of SDRTG for the time blocks in the month for which T-GNARE has been granted) / (total number of time  blocks for which T-GNARE has been granted in the month X 0.3 X T-GNARE)”
