The Government of Bihar on October 20, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Draft Bihar Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Tribunal (Constitution and Service Conditions) Rules, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions or terms like an insurance company, legal representative, etc.
•Rule 3 talks about the formation of motor vehicle accident claims tribunal.
•Rule 4 talks about the duties of the tribunal.
•Any objections and suggestions regarding the draft are to be made within 30 days from the date of publication.
It will extend to the entire state of Bihar.
