The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 23, 2023 issued a notification regarding the Discontinuation of Reporting of Bank Account Balances
This has a reference to the circular no. NCL/CMPL/47241 dated February 04, 2021, regarding reporting of bank account balances (weekly basis) and circular no. NCL/CMPL/55352 dated January 24, 2023, on daily submissions of bank balances by clearing members and circular no. NSE/INSP/59044 dated October 20, 2023, on Discontinuation of Reporting of Bank Account Balances and Bank Statements
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that in order to ease the compliance it has been decided to discontinue the aforesaid requirement of reporting bank account balances and accordingly period of the last submission which would be applicable to the member for daily bank balance reporting shall be October 28, 2023.
