Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on October 23, 2023, issued a notification to extend the compliance date for OC 163 dated March 20, 2023, i.e. Furthering interoperability in the UPI ecosystem.

It is understood from various acquiring members that the necessary changes mentioned in OC 163 are still under development. Based on ecosystem requirements, the compliance date for OC 163 has been extended till December 31, 2023.

All UPI Members are requested to comply with the respective compliances by the aforementioned timeline.
