The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on October 25, 2023, notified the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Twelfth Amendment) Order, 2023 further to amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
The following has been amended: -
•In Schedule I of the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of import into India) Order, 2003 under the heading “Seaports”, after serial No.47 the following entries shall be added, namely: -
Seaports-
48. Campbell Bay (Andaman & Nicobar Island)
49. Car Nicobar (Andaman & Nicobar Island)
It shall come into force on October 25, 2023.
