The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on October 27, 2023, extended the due date for filing the report of the accountant in Form 56F for A.Y. 2023–24

This has a reference to the CBDT Circular No. 18/2023 dated October 20, 2023, which has extended the due date of filing of a report of the accountant

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that the due date for filing a report of the accountant in Form 56F for A.Y. 2023–24 has been extended to December 31, 2023.
