The Ministry of Textiles on October 27, 2023, amended an older order No. S.O. 4553(E), dated October 05, 2023, related to the minimum price of jute.
The following has been stated: -
•In the said order, for the words, figures, and letter “…to be in force until October 31, 2023, or further orders whichever is earlier as mentioned below. I further direct that no buyer and no seller will be entitled to buy or sell other than these rates specified till October 31, 2023.”, the words, figures, and letters “…to be in force until January 31, 2024, or further orders whichever is earlier as mentioned below. I further direct that no buyer and no seller shall be entitled to buy or sell at rates lower than these rates specified till January 31, 2024, or further orders whichever is earlier.” shall be substituted.
