The Ministry of Education (MoE) on October 26, 2023, amended an older notification No. S.O. 2977(E), dated September 08, 2017, related to the Department of School Education and Literacy.
The following has been stated: -
•In the said notification, -
a) under the heading “Chairperson”, for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely; - “Minister of Education, Government of India”
b) under the heading “Ex-Officio Members, for serial number 1 and entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely: - “1. Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India”.
