Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 31, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Payment of SEBI Turnover Fees across segments including applicable GST.

Trading Members of the Exchange are being informed that effective from July 18, 2022, SEBI turnover fees for various segments, including Cash, Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, New Debt Segment, Repo Segment, and EGR Segment, will now be subject to a GST rate of 18%. 

The turnover fee, along with the applicable GST, will be deducted from the respective settlement (valan) accounts of Trading Members on the 3rd working day of the following month, which is November 03, 2023.

Trading Members should take note of the following:

Turnover figures for various segments and the corresponding fees, inclusive of 18% GST, will be accessible in the EXTRANET (current date > EQ > Transaction) on November 01, 2023.

The 18% GST will be payable for the month based on the amount mentioned in column no. 26 of the TF2A file.

Invoices for the SEBI turnover fees, including applicable GST, will be provided on or before November 02, 2023, in the EXTRANET (current date > EQ > ZIP with the file name SEBIOCT2023.Member_Code) for the month of October 2023.

These fees, along with GST, will continue to be deducted separately from the Member's settlement account, with appropriate notations for reference.

Members are kindly requested to ensure that their settlement accounts (valan accounts) maintain sufficient funds for the payment of SEBI Turnover Fees.
