The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 30, 2023, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Primary Lead and Putty for Use on Window Frames.
The following Indian Standards were established on October 20, 2023:
• IS 27: 2023 Primary Lead — Specification (Fifth Revision)
• IS 419: 2023 Putty for Use on Window Frames — Specification (Second Revision)
• IS 1729: 2023 Sand Cast Iron Spigot and Socket Pipes, Fittings and Accessories — Specification (Third Revision)
• IS 11111: 2023 Leaded Bronze Powders — Specification (First Revision)
The following Indian Standard will be withdrawn on April 20, 2023:
• IS 27: 1992 Pig Lead — Specification (Fourth Revision)
• IS 419: 1967 Specification for Putty for Use on Window Frames (First Revision)
• IS 1729: 2002 Cast Iron/Ductile Iron Drainage Pipes and Pipe Fittings for Over Ground Non-Pressure Pipeline Socket and Spigot Series (Second Revision)
• IS 11111: 1984 Specification for Leaded Bronze Powders
