The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 30, 2023, issued the amendment for certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following Indian Standard was established on October 17, 2023: -
• IS 5405 : 2019 Sanitary Napkins — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 3 October 2023
• IS 15138 : 2010 Textiles — Jute Bags for Packing 50 kg Sugar — Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
• IS 15573 : 2018 Polyaluminium Chloride - Amendment No. 2 October 2023
The standard shall stay in force without the amendment till April 16, 2024.
