The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) on October 31, 2023, issued an amendment in the notification no. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to the Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude and export of Aviation Turbine Fuel.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the said notification, in Table, -
o against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 9800 per tonne” shall be substituted;
o against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. Nil per litre” shall be substituted.
This notification shall come into force on November 01, 2023.
