The Government of Himachal Pradesh On October 31, 2023, issued an amendment to the Maximum rate of Special Road Tax under the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In Schedule III, which states “Maximum rate of Special Road Tax”, the following rates specified in the table have been substituted.
• Any objection/suggestion will be considered by the State Government, before finalizing the same. He/she may send the same to the Principal Secretary (Transport) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2, within 7 days from October 31, 2023 i.e November 06, 2023.
