The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 31, 2023, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of Indian Standard related to Geometrical Product Specifications.
The following Indian standards were established on October 19, 2023:
• IS 15759: 2023/ISO 12179: 2021 Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) — Surface Texture — Profile Method — Calibration of Contact (Stylus) Instruments (First Revision)
• IS 18256: 2023 Solid Round Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) Bars for Concrete Reinforcement — Specification.
• IS 18389: 2023 Fipronil, Technical — Specification.
• IS 18390 : 2023 Fipronil + Acetamiprid Suspension Concentrate — Specification.
The following Indian Standards will be withdrawn from November 19, 2023:
• IS 15759: 2007/ISO 12179: 2000 Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) — Surface Texture: Profile Method — Calibration of Contact (Stylus) Instruments.
• IS 15421 (Part 2): 2003/ISO 13565-2: 1996 Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) — Surface Texture: Profile Method — Surfaces Having Stratified Functional Properties Part 2 Height Characterization Using the Linear Material Ratio Curve.
