The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on November 03, 2023, issued a notification regarding Enhancements in RTRMS - Zero Terminal (ZT) for the Equity Derivatives segment.
This is further to the Exchange circular regarding Enhancements in RTRMS - Zero Terminal (ZT). Trading members are requested to note that it is proposed to make further enhancements in the RTRMS-ZT system as follows –
1. Changes to Limit Setting for BOLT Pro TWS Users in the Equity Derivatives Segment:
Presently, members establish trade limits for BOLT Pro TWS user IDs in the Equity Derivatives segment through the "All Trade Limit (Equity & Derivatives)" feature, which applies to both Equity and Equity Derivatives segments.
Starting from Monday, November 06, 2023, the following modifications will be in place:
"All Trade Limit (Equity & Derivatives)" will be renamed to "All Trade Limit (Equity)" and will only be applicable to the Equity segment.
The "DF" designation will be removed from the "Group-wise limit screen."
A new feature, "All Trade Limit (Derivatives)," will be introduced specifically for setting limits for BOLT Pro TWS users in the Equity Derivatives segment.
For common trader IDs present in both Equity and Equity Derivatives segments, the limits set by members will be automatically copied as of Friday, November 03, 2023, to the new "All Trade Limit (Derivatives)" facility, enabling individual limits for each segment.
Members are advised to review and adjust these limits as needed for their trading activities starting from Monday, November 06, 2023.
2. Enhancement in User Role Assignment for RTRMS - ZT System Functionalities:
Currently, members assign various functionality rights to sub-users using the "Users -> Assign Rights" menu option within the Admin login of the RTRMS-ZT system.
As of Monday, November 06, 2023, the following changes will take effect:
Members will have the capability to assign rights separately for "ZT-All Trade Limit (Equity)" and "ZT-All Trade Limit (Derivatives)" functionalities in their respective segments.
For the sake of continuity in trading, if any RTRMS Admin of a member has assigned rights to a sub-user for "ZT-All Trade Limit (Equity & Derivatives)," those rights will automatically be assigned to the same sub-user for the "ZT-All Trade Limit (Derivatives)" option as of the end of the day on Friday, November 03, 2023.
Members are encouraged to review and update these functionality rights separately for each segment based on their trading activities starting from Monday, November 06, 2023.
For additional details and illustrative examples regarding these enhancements, trading members can refer to the enclosed user manual in the Annexure.
These enhancements will be implemented for live trading starting from Monday, November 06, 2023, and will be available for testing during the mock trading session scheduled for Saturday, November 04, 2023.
