The Bureau of India Standards (BIS) on November 01, 2023, issued the amendment to certain Indian Standards.
The amendments of the following Indian Standards has been established on October 16, 2023 namely: -
• IS 1885 (Part 87) : 2022/IEC 60050-713 : 1998 Electrotechnical Vocabulary Part 87 Radio Communications: Transmitters, Receivers, Networks and Operation - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
• IS 1885 (Part 712) : 2021/IEC 60050-712 : 1992 Electrotechnical Vocabulary Part 712 Antennas - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
• IS 10429 : 2011 Powdered Talc for Ceramic Industry — Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
• IS/IEC 60079-28 : 2015 Explosive Atmospheres Part 28 Protection of Equipment and Transmission Systems Using Optical Radiation (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
• IS/IEC 60079-29-1 : 2016 Explosive Atmospheres Part 29 Gas Detectors Section 1 Performance Requirements of Detectors for Flammable Gases (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 October 2023
The Indian Standards shall remain in force without the amendment till November 15, 2023.
