The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 03, 2023, issued the notification regarding the FATF Public Statement on jurisdictions subject to call for action and jurisdictions under increased monitoring - October 2023 Plenary.
The following has been stated namely: -
• SEBI has informed the Exchange about the public statement released by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) after the October 2023 Plenary as part of the ongoing efforts to identify and work with jurisdictions with strategic AML/CFT deficiencies.
• The link to the public statements on FATF’s website has been given in the notification
• It is highlighted that following review, FATF now also identifies Bulgaria as a new jurisdiction subject to increased monitoring.
