The Government of Haryana on November 02, 2023, issued a notification regarding holidays for all Shops and Commercial Establishments.
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, and all other enabling powers, the Governor of Haryana hereby fixes “Saturday” November 25, 2023, to be the holiday with wages for all Shops and Commercial Establishments falling within the jurisdiction area of the State of Haryana for those employees who are enrolled as voters in the State of Rajasthan to enable them to cast their votes.
