The Ministry of Coal (MoC) on November 06, 2023, issued a notice requesting all the interested Agencies to submit a brief note on the ideas of ‘Mine Closure’.
Ministry of Coal has issued guidelines on Mine Closure with the objective of ensuring appropriate and effective closure of coal mines within the mine closure framework including environmental, social, re-purposing and other concerns,
The agencies may be required to make a presentation at a workshop proposed to be conducted on ‘Mine Closure', tentatively during the first week of December 2023.
The request may be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] within 15 days of publication of this notice on the website.
